Carte Blanche with Chassity Evans

Carte Blanche with Chassity Evans

Posted by Claire Van Zee on

Merry everything from Mount Pleasant, the town just outside of Charleston Chassity Evans of @looklingerlove calls home. This month’s (second!) Carte Blanche tastemaker served up a blue and green Christmas that will withstand the test of time and suppers for all seasons. Taking center stage is our iconic and exclusive Richard Ginori mint floral dinner plate atop the holiday linen in happy Christmas green hues. These pieces made the table sing all on its own; all she had to add were a bunch of hydrangeas and poppy candlesticks for what’s sure to be a December dinner to remember.

CHASSITY TELLS ALL

Current color crush: Citrine mixed with greens and blues :) I used a lot of these colors in my new house!

Eternal style muse: I adore Amanda Lindroth's home and entertaining aesthetic. Her style is chic and inspiring, but most importantly FUN and approachable.

An under-the-radar Instagram feed that’s a total treasure trove: @Chelseahandegan is an interior designer here in Charleston SC and her home and fashion style is top notch!

Best part of your job: The fun factor. I started my blog in 2010 for fun and I still try to treat it as such. I love sharing amazing brands and creators and other finds!

Your happy place: I have two - Charleston SC, and also our Bahamas home away from home @coralhouseharbourisland.

Film you’ve seen more times than you care to admit: The original Parent Trap! But it's really TV shows for me. I've seen both Gilmore Girls and The Mindy Project more than I should admit! They both just make me feel so happy.

Avenue must-have: Uh everything? I'm especially loving my Sabre flatware. It looks so good on the table and feels so good in the hand.

Favorite Charleston haunt: I have a few including The Post House, Little Jacks, and Halls!

Something few people know: My husband Josh proposed two months after we met. That was 16 years ago.

Current dream vaca destination: Dying to visit the Playa Grande Beach Club!

Our fridge is never without: Cheese for me, clementines for my husband Josh, Chobani yogurt for my daughter Lilly, and Chick fil A sauce for my son Fletcher.

Wouldn’t it be cool if: The Outlander series was based on a true story?

Winter drink of choice: Vodka water for me all year round, snow or shine!

Calling our next Carte Blanche tastemaker: Chloe Adelia Watts founder and CEO of Chloedigital.
