A few weeks ago I hosted my mom friends for our annual back-to-school dinner party. I love entertaining, but will be the first to admit that I often wait until the last minute to pull everything together. My friends sent a text inquiring about dinner attire and since I was feeling themey decided "sushi chic" had a nice ring to it! My to-do list leading up the dinner was a mile long when I realized I still needed to find an outfit for the theme.
During Jack's nap I hopped on the computer and found the perfect outfit at Nordstrom. Their order online & pick up in-store service was going to save me because there wasn't a day to spare for shipping! I got a notification that my outfit was ready for pickup and used their handy curbside delivery service simply by calling in advance to let them know I was en route to pick up my order. A Nordstrom employee actually hand delivered my new outfit directly to my car window, which is so nice when you've got kiddos in tow.
I tried on the top once I got home and the straps were clearly too long. Thankfully, Nordstrom also offers easy alterations that can be made online, so I popped over the day before the party and voilå, an on point party outfit is checked off the list! If only rolling sushi could be this easy!
