Carte Blanche with the Brilliant Muse Behind Born on Fifth, Emily Hertz

Carte Blanche with the Brilliant Muse Behind Born on Fifth, Emily Hertz

Posted by Lyndsey Zorich on

Coming from the blogging side herself, Lyndsey loves supporting other women in the space, and we have been fans of Emily over at Born on Fifth for a good bit now.

Her strong point-of-view curating classic pieces, unabashedly feminine designs and always a little extra frill never fail to cheer us up, so we made sure Atlanta was on the top of our 2020 travel list.

Emily creates beautiful content within both the home and fashion arenas, so we were giddy to see what she dreamt up for her Carte Blanche shoot with us.

Her post of the scene is actually already live, so check it out here and continue exploring the endless pages of inspiration on Born on Fifth

Her inspiration board started here: cue a soft palette of pastels, scallops and layered florals for a springtime setting true to her signature style.

Spring was the opportune season to showcase Emily's style, and she solicited the help of local Atlanta florist, Ginger Rose, to create this breathtaking baby's breath and garden rose arrangement at the center of her breakfast table. Use our ceramic flower frog to recreate this look on your table.

The small but significant detail that ties this whole look together? The European flatware with the soft green handles.

Quite possibly our favorite part of Emily's blog and feed is her darling daughter, Elle, who will soon be a big sister! Rest assured you can rely on beautiful baby boy (!) clothing, nursery inspiration and more in the months to come as his arrival approaches any day.

Until then, she's busy pouring the rosé for the rest of us in our always popular perle coupe glasses. She loved them so much she kept this set for her Atlanta abode.

Get to know Emily a little bit better with our Carte Blanche Q & A.  Shop her must-have here, of which she is also now a proud owner of for future dinner parties.

Emily so graciously opened up her home the evening of her shoot for an intimate trunk show, and we loved meeting all of our Atlanta shoppers, some old and new.

Stay tuned for more spring tablescapes from Atlanta's most stylish including one other setting by Emily. xx
