Puff-Sleeves are Here to Stay; Here's How I Style Them

Puff-Sleeves are Here to Stay; Here's How I Style Them

Posted by Lyndsey Zorich on

Taking a little blast from the blog post past for this one!

I wrote about mastering the puff sleeve on L. Avenue in August of 2018, and it's clear the trend has gone nowhere since and isn't going to leave us anytime soon.

SHOP PUFF-SLEEVE STYLES

Shop my dress here.

Sourcing clothing to this extent for the site has given me a much closer pulse on trends, and I knew I wasn't the only one here for a statement sleeve when all of our puff-sleeve styles sold like hot cakes.

Shop the last few here! From left to right: Daisy Dress in ivory, also in navy here, Duke Dress in plum (fully stocked in all sizes!) and the hugely popular leopard silk top with neon accents.

Some are more subtle than others, but even just a little perk in the sleeve area really adds something to an otherwise ordinary top. From left to right: cherub toile bon bon blouse (shop the whole look/table here), linen maxi dress (comes in navy too), pleated ruffle top in floral (also in red, perfect for Valentine's day).

This best-selling white blouse is sold out, but we have a few others by Hunter still available! Shop them here, and see how I've styled them.

{Shop the top here.}

The key to pulling off the puff sleeve is to keep the rest of your outfit basic: classic blue denim, neutral heels, your everyday bag and easy accessories like hoops

Shop the last leather top here and the entire look here.

This look is a little more over-the-top but still pulled together with pink accents. One left of this leather gem; read why I'm leaning into leather in this post

Shop the blue x green floral dress here and the rainbow stripe dress here.

Last but not least, an ode to spring to prove this sleeve style's staying power. More to come -- stay tuned and happy Monday!
